Ten Pianists Performing

Pomegranate Arts and Performing Arts Houston bring together ten talented pianist to run through all twenty of Philip Glass' Piano Etudes at Jones Hall. Composed across a two-decade period, the etudes have become a modern classic in which much of the joy of listening comes from the interpretation; the sparse directions left by Glass gives a sumptuous scope for the performer to bring their own style into the performance.
