Pink Martini are the brain child of Thomas Lauderdale, who in the early 1990's was thinking of running for Mayoral office. But he slowly became frustrated and fascinated by the musical entertainment during political society events. So he formed Pink Martini to address this and make music that appeals to everyone, from liberals to conservatives, all over the world. Over 25 years later, they're still going strong, with new fans garnered with every tour and album released.
