The Houston Symphony Orchestra turns up the volume with a recital of Beethoven's unforgettable Fifth Symphony. Known as one of, if not the most famous work in the entire classical canon, let yourself be transported into a world of outstanding melody and thrilling creativity from those fateful first four bars, conducted by Juraj Valcuha.

Alongside the famous Beethoven work, the orchestra's principal timpanist Leonard Soto will take the spotlight, for a world premiere performance of renowned composer Andy Akiho's Timpani Concerto, written especially for Soto. A powerful all-round performance from Houston Symphony!
