Sandoval was twelve years old when he started learning how to play the trumpet and quickly started playing in jazz clubs in Havana. The musician has won multiple awards, including Grammys, an Emmy, and several Billboard Awards. Not content to stick to the trumpet, Sandoval can also play the Flugel horn, the piano, and even the timbales.
