Arturo Sandoval Swings Into Houston

Beloved jazz trumpeter and composer Arturo Sandoval brings his virtuosic skill and infectious charm to Jones Hall with the Houston Symphony! The 10-time Grammy winner and Kennedy Center honored musician has become a global icon of jazz and latin music, and is here to sweep you away with a show featuring the the sounds of Brazilian samba, Cuban Son and brilliant Jazz, for an evening like no other!

Sandoval was twelve years old when he started learning how to play the trumpet and quickly started playing in jazz clubs in Havana. The musician has won multiple awards, including Grammys, an Emmy, and several Billboard Awards. Not content to stick to the trumpet, Sandoval can also play the Flugel horn, the piano, and even the timbales.
