Are we going to prom or hell?! Rebellious Veronica Sawyer's struggle with her resident high school mean girls, the three scrunchie-sporting 'Heathers', comes to a murderous end when her mysterious new boyfriend arrives on the scene with some interesting ideas about restoring the social hierarchy. Based on the 1988 movie, this wonderfully subversive dark teen comedy has now been adapted for the stage, premiering to much praise Off Broadway in 2014.
Retelling the the story of the cult comedy, Heathers -The Musical is written by Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy, who add a bright rocky score to this tale of devious cliques and practical tricks.

Previously a background character at Westerberg High School, bookish Veronica Sawyer longs to rise above all the adolescent drama of school, and head to college under the radar. But when an act of bravery brings her to the attention of the school's Queen Bee, Heather and her two acolytes, also called Heather, she finds that her plan might be impossible.
Stuck between popularity or social suicide, Veronica finds comfort in the rebellious new kid, poetry quoting bad boy (tm) J.D. He's no fan of rules, and even less a fan of the dictatorial Heathers. With Veronica's help, he plans some mean tricks on the girls, but something is not right with these harmless pranks, in fact, in the case of the Heathers, its all getting pretty harmful, even fatal...
