Styx performance on June 10 in Noblesville was one for the ages! Phenomenal! They bring classic and new songs to the stage with new twists, and renditions, that are amazing. Sound quality, lighting, instrumental arrangements, outfits, focus, engagement with the crowd, were all superb. Each and every band member is a pro and a once in a lifetime talent. They are one of the best rock bands ever. Thank you for what you do. Thank you Styx!!!

REO, STYX, LOVERBOY SAT. TAMPA
Loverboy opened with a rousing one hour set of their greatest hits. And they had quite a few. After a twenty minute break Styx hit the stage with their total professionalism and treated the sold out crowd to all their hits through the years. I have seen Styx six times and Sat. night was the best ever. Closing this stellar concert was the ever popular REO Speedwagon. Having seen REO a dozen times since 1976 I was totally impressed by Kevin Cronin and crew. They remain the best of the best. A solid 10. If you want a great evening of the finest in classic rock music spend the money and enjoy the evening. You won't be disappointed.

STYX WAS JUST UNBELIEVABLE LIVE IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN THE ALBUM
What can I say one of the best classic rock concerts I've ever been to and I've been to a lot probably the best maybe next to cheap trick if we could get cheap trick and sticks to do a concert tour together that would probably be the best ever

PERFECT ROCK NIGHT IN HUNTSVILLE
Driving 100 miles to see not only Rock Legends I grew up with but also the brand new Orion Amphitheater that seats 8000. Was not disappointed in any way. A perfect night for an outdoor concert. As the owner of an original vinyl record of all three groups, the concert was a treat. Loverboy started it up and rocked the night with all their hits and I was loving every minute of it. After a quick set up change (15 min.), REO came on and was absolutely amazing. Kevin Cronin was energetic and lifted the show to new heights. Styx followed and loved all their hits but they did play a little more of their recent album offerings while leaving out a couple of their greatest hits. Still great and Tommy Shaw, an Alabama kid, can still bring it. Really a great show!

GREAT CONCERT BUT ONE BAND TOO MANY
Felder and his band were superb both musically and
vocally...his vocals were spot on and harmonies were
tight. His performance was worth the price of
admission. Styx was outstanding in all categories
with a really high energy opening and a booming
bass beat throughout. Vocals were terrific and
musically thr performance was very tight...really
good show. Reo was a huge disappointment and
played way too long...wish they had given more of
their time to Felder and Styx.

STYX AND FELDER WERE STELLAR; REO, NOT SO MUCH
I went to the Styx/REO concert anticipating a
great show and Don Felder and Styx did not
disappoint. I had no expectations for Felder; I
just thought it would be a set I’d have to listen
to before the real talent came on stage. I was
pleasantly surprised, however, with the vocals
(Seven Bridges Road’s harmonies were
masterful) and the guitars, particular on “Hotel
California”. It was fun to sing with other Eagles’
fans to the many Eagles hits such as “Take it
Easy” and “Heartache Tonight”. I would
recommend seeing Felder alone. Styx was
awesome; Tommy Shaw can still bring it and
the lead vocalists’ vocals and pianos/keyboards
were perfection. I could have listened to them
for another hour or more, especially since REO
sucked. Poor acoustics, bad vocals and a
performance that the band just dialed in. No
way they should have been headliner. All in all,
great concert and well worth my $40.

DON FELDER-STYX-REO
I agree with the person's review that
said DonFelder AND STYX were good.
Really good. REO made me sad. Out
of tune ... out of key ... maybe out of
time..I love REO...however...

STYX/LOVERBOY/REO - IRVINE 7/16
Loverboy was excellent! Mike Reno’s voice is still in pretty solid shape (although I hope he gets into better shape - we need you around Mike!), and you could tell he and the band were having a lot of fun! They nailed it in their 45-50 minute set. Styx literally blew the roof off the place!! (If there had been a roof that is :). Studio quality sound on every song. High energy. Vocals were perfect! They should be touring and doing a 2 hour set as a headliner. That’s how great they were! Tommy Shaw changed guitars 7 times. Gotta love it. REO - yikes! I love them, but they were a big disappointment. Cronin’s voice showed it’s age. You could feel the cringe in the crowd after watching how good Styx was. Cronin’s voice needs more backup - alone he can’t carry it. They should have been the opening band. Go see Styx - and Loverboy. Stick around for REO unless your Uber is waiting.

STYX, LOVERBOY AND REO.
I thought Loverboy was great. Tough to be a lead singer for their tunes, although I admire the attempt. Styx came next and were exceptional. Just what I was hoping for. Simply amazing. REO played third- I remember listening to their stuff in the 70's and loved them. Not so great now however. I will say that the acoustics were pretty poor at the AK-Chin Pavillion in Phoenx. Hard to sound good with metal roofing over a large part of the venue.

5 STARS FOR STYX - 3 FOR REO - 3 FOR LOVERBOY
Hometown hero Lawrence Gowan, the piano-playing, jig dancing and frequent lead vocalist of Styx, was the unchallenged star of the evening, as the band he joined after giving up his solo career (“A Criminal Mind” - performed at the concert - and many more) returned to Toronto to headline a 3-band show with 1980s’ Canadian hit rockers Loverboy and REO Speedwagon.
I’ve seen Styx before Gowan and with Gowan several times, but never was he (or his predecessor, Styx co-founder Dennis De Young) such a centrepiece of the band’s show before. His gregarious comments, sylph-like sweeps across the stage, piano fills, powerful vocals and physical gymnastics helped the the band through a near 2-hour set of mainly the best known songs from their glittering catalogue of music.
From the opening “Rocking the Paradise” to the final encore “Renegade”, Styx had the 15,000 in attendance on their feet all night.
Loverboy opened with a solid set of hits and curios, and REO followed - not very exciting.

GOOD, NOT GREAT (BUT FANTASTIC WEATHER)
Loverboy - started slow, but Mike's voice got stronger as the show went on and ended up very strong. With several anthem songs, great way to start.
REO - Still great vocals after all these years, but at times a bit weak on guitar. They like to play a "heavy" set now, almost feels like they shun the hits, but enoyable.
STYX - Gowan is an amazing technical singer, but he just does not bring the necessary emotion to Styx songs. You see that when he does his own Criminal Mind, which was the highlight. For the rest, it feels like a really good cover band, it never feels quite right.

UNITED WE ROCK CONCERT REVIEW
Wet night, but weather cleared up for the show overall.
Don Felder sounded really good, played the best Eagles tunes all
night. Well worth the price of admission just for his set.
REO Speedwagon just needs to retire and give it up. Terrible vocal
performance, backed by a band that was simply going through the
motions. Almost painful to watch the singer trying to keep a tune,
and find the right notes.
Styx sounded excellent, and played the best songs from their long
career. Band started playing late, and had a short set due to the
time cutoff of the venue.
Overall, it was a really good concert. Better weather would have
made it a much more pleasant experience, but no one can control
mother nature.
Don Felder and Styx are highly recommended.
REO Speedwagon I would not recommend, even for a county fair
show.

2 OUTTA 3 AIN'T BAD
Don Felder's vocals were crisp and clean and
his presentation of Eagle's songs was spot
on. Of course it was great to see him play
leads on all those great songs.
REO was a disappointment. Muddy sound
and weak vocals. Not the REO from not so
long ago.
Styx was awesome! Tommy Shaw's vocals
were spot on and absolutely powerful.
Showmanship and quality musicianship all
around. New tune Radio Silence very
enjoyable. A great live band!
My first concert at Van Andel. Great venue
for a concert.

DISAPPOINTED
The only reason I bought tickets to this concert was to see REO Speedwagon. I love their songs. Lover boy and Styx were just add ons.
Turns out that Loverboy and Styx were far superior to REO. REO did a few of their hits and they did a great job, but played 2 indulgent, looong songs that no one knew and sucked the life out of the crowd. I left feeling disappointed
Bryan Wilson from Phoenix, Arizona
HOW CAN IT BE THAT ONE CLASSIC BAND SOUNDS MUDDY AND OUT OF TUNE AND THE OTHER IS SPOT ON.
Loverboy did a good job, Styx was pretty stellar, REO was horrible sounding.
