The Houston Symphony invites you aboard the Polar Express!
Do you believe? If not, you will once you board the Polar Express for the enchanting journey to the North Pole. Robert Franz conducts the Houston Symphony through the festive magic, which features original storybook images projected onto the big screen. However, the Christmas spirit doesn't stop when the train does; there will also be a holiday sing-a-long where you're invited to join in singing all your festive favorites from "Let it Snow" to "Frosty the Snowman". It's festive fun for all the family to enjoy!
It's Christmas eve, a young boy lays in wait for the sound of Santa's sleigh, even though his friends said Santa doesn't exist. But it's not the sound of bells which he hears, but the sound of a steam train which is parked right outside the front door. The conductor invites him aboard and so begins his magical journey to the North Pole.
