The 2019 winner of the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Cecile McLorin Salvant is no stranger to accolades and awards - her inimitable vocal artistry and magnetic persona have not only been awarded two of these Grammys before, but she was also the recipient of the first prize in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition 2010 as well as much critical acclaim across the board.
What started as a small YouTube web series in 2013 snowballed into a national phenomenon when its first 90-second video amassed over four million views. Picked up by CraveTV and expanded into a full TV series a year later, Letterkenny stars Jared Keeso and Nathan Dales as Wayne and Daryl, two friends, chronicling their hilarious interactions with each other and the other inhabitants of their Canadian small-town community. The Lille and Roy Cullen Theater is the smaller of the Wortham Center's two theaters. Regularly playing host to local groups such as Mercury and Society for the Performing Arts, the Cullen's intimate space is perfect for chamber music, solo performers and smaller touring shows and ballets.
