Grunge-tinged country rocker Stephen Wilson Jr
Country rock singer-songwriter and former scientist Stephen Wilson Jr is on tour across North America! Following the 2025 success of his debut record Son of Dad and the Blankets EP featuring covers of Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and others, Wilson takes his grungy, indie-rock inspired country stylings - which he himself describes as "Death Cab For Country" - back out on the road!
A relative late-bloomer in an industry which is often so focused on age when it comes to breakout stars, Wilson Jr didn't become a full-time professional musician until his late thirties. Following a career in food science, he became a staff songwriter for Nashville music company Big Loud in 2016, finally signing to BMG and releasing his long awaited debut album in 2025. A whirlwind year has seen him perform at the NFL Draft and collaborate with the likes of Shaboozey and Noah Cyrus, and Wilson's growing success has proved that great music is worth the wait.
