Why see The Eagles?

Take It Easy

A bona-fida musical institution, Eagles have been making music for over four decades. The most successful group to emerge from the burgeoning West Coast scene of the early 70s, their brand of country-tinged rock saw them become one of the biggest-selling bands in the world. With songs like "Hotel California" and "Take it Easy", the band's popularity has remained undiminished.

Harmonies Still Chill and Joe Still Rocks

Caught the Feb16, 2024 show in Houston. Steely Dan opened and musically were fantastic. Don Fagan's vocal chops have been, well, chopped, but it was great to see him out there singing all of those hits. Eagles opened with Seven Bridges and the harmonies were spot on. Somebody, I think Vince Gill, threw in some cool bluegrass licks to envy. The band ripped through one Eagles hit after another, while Don Henley sang a great rendition of Boys of Summer and Joe was, well, Joe. At 76, his voice was strong and he remains a dynamic live rock guitarist. He did Funk 49, In the City, Life's Been Good and a rousing Rocky Mountain Way in the encore, and the crowd loved every one. Vince contributed vocals on Take It To the Limit and others and his guitar was a help, particularly a great solo dual with Joe late in the show. Deacon Frye was a nostalgic reminder of his dad. He sounds a little more Travis Tritt than Glen Frey, but it was cool to see him up there. All in all, a great performance. ... Read more

LOVED IT!!!!

An amazzzzing show, as good as the 1977 Hotel California tour, 40 years later! Harmonies spot on and wonderful tributes to Glenn Frey with his son Deacon stepping in. Played the entire HC album with no stops, no talk, just music and then played second half full of the favorites. Props to Vince Gill doing the honors on Take It to the Limit. ... Read more
