The Latest Disney Musical

Following its world premiere last year in Arlington, Disney's newest musical comes to Houston. A light, family-friendly delight, this show is based on the novel by Mary Rodgers, best known through its two movie adaptations, which starred Jodie Foster and Lindsay Lohan. Freaky Friday follows a mother and daughter who don't always see eye to eye, but are forced to reckon with their differences when they magically swap bodies!

This show boasts an impressive creative team, with the score coming courtesy of Pulitzer Prize-winning duo Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal), while Friday Night Lights' writer Bridget Carpenter wrote to the book.
