TAO: THE ART OF THE DRUM

Bringing "Cool Japan" to audiences across the world....

Since the achievement 10 years ago, TAO has been seen more than 5 million spectators in 17 countries and 400 cities. Their success in the world gathered talented creators around the world, which broaden the infinite possibility of TAO. Japan tour has been kicked off since 2009 starting with the 15 shows presented by Fuji TV group . The number of performances had been expanded within a year and TAO will perform 70 shows this year.

TAO performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the biggest art festival in the world in 2004 and 2005 and achieved No.1 ticket sales among more than 2000 groups in both year at the festival. They received a great deal of attention from promoters all around the world. TAO then started full scale world tours such as three month long run performance in Hamburg, 100 shows in Germany and Switzerland, all around Australia tour, and Taipei arena shows for the second time in a row.

Finally, they have embarked on their first USA tour in 2010, a long term goal since the beginning. American reviewers praised the group as ? a sensational Japanese entertainment show you have never seen? TAO also received an invitation from to perform at the Vancouver Olympics and they sold out the whole 50 shows on the tour.
