Making classical music accessible to listeners of all ages - even infants!
What could be a better start to the weekend than cartoons and cereal? The Houston Symphony Orchestra may just have the answer in the form of their exciting Family Concert Series. Taking families on a magical, musical quest on Saturday mornings, the orchestra invites children of all ages, including infants, to experience the magic of classical music.
Delve into a mystical realm where furniture can sing and appearances are deceiving in this special child-friendly concert of songs from Disney's Beauty and The Beast classic score. Little ones are encouraged to sing along to beloved songs like Be Our Guest and Something There while mischievous Tubby the Tuba and Peepo the Piccolo head off on their very own adventure.
Don't miss the pre-show activities! There'll be arts, crafts and an instrument petting zoo.
