Why See ?

We Love You, We Really Love You!

Two-time Oscar winner Sally Field comes to Houston as part of the Brilliant Lecture Series. She'll be looking back over her illustrious career on screen and stage, and speaking about the challenges she's faced in balancing family and work.

Beginning her career on the small screen in sitcoms like Gidget, Sally Field graduated to the Hollywood big leagues with her starring role in the monster hit Smokey and the Bandit, opposite Burt Reynolds. Over the course of the next four decades she forged one of the movies' most impressive and diverse careers, winning her two Academy Awards for her turns in Norma Rae and Places in the Heart, and also appearing in the likes of Mrs. Doubtfire, Steel Magnolias and The Amazing Spider-Man.
