Snoopy gets a new, erm, leash (!) of life in this revised musical
Based on the original musical Snoopy!!!, this revived and revamped production re-introduces us to the favorite Peanuts comic character, joined with his human gang comprising Charlie Brown, Sally, Peppermint Patty, Lucy, Linus, and Woodstock. Kaitlin Hopkins (Noises Off ) helms this brand-new version of the show, with Broadway choreographer Adam Cates (Anastasia, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder) are joined by the composition talents of Larry Grossman, making this very much a labor of love for those involved - in fact, Hopkins' father Gene Persson was involving in staging the Tony-winning You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!
Sharing his witty philospohies on love and life, Snoopy and his Peanuts gang (cos let's face it, he's the true leader!) sing and dance their way in this revised new story, complete with a brand-new song for Sally to sing solo, courtesy of Grossman. Expect to hear new orchestrations of favorites including Just One Person, Edgar Allan Poe, and Poor Sweet Baby, which is sure to capture the hearts of fans old and new!
