From the dimly lit stage of the Cavern Club to the creative differences that finally saw them go their separate ways, John, Paul, George and Ringo ruled the 1960s as the figureheads of the British Invasion. First shattering the US with their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show on February 9th 1964, they went on to hypnotise teenage girls up and down the land. Far from being a one hit wonder, the incredible mercury between John and Paul steered the band to the top of the charts over and over again with records and singles too numerous to name. By the time they split up in 1970, they had conquered the globe with their wit and charm, leaving behind an influence that has never abated.
